Who this is for

Founders using SEO, content, and outreach.

The real problem

Analytics can show visits, but not always which asset created buying intent.

What to do first

  1. Create source links
  2. Use one CTA per page
  3. Review clicks
  4. Improve the best page

Worked example

Give each important page a source label, such as seo-homepage-copy or seo-checkout-friction. Track the CTA click and the Stripe Checkout Session it starts. This separates 'the article got visits' from 'the article created buying intent'.

What to measure

Review four numbers per page: qualified visits, primary CTA clicks, checkout starts, and paid purchases. Do not call a page successful from impressions alone.

Reusable template

Weekly page row: URL | search query | qualified visits | CTA clicks | checkout starts | purchases | next change. Change one major element at a time so the result remains interpretable.

Founder commentary

Tracking does not create demand, but it stops us from repeating activity that only looks busy. The purpose is to decide which page deserves another week of improvement.
